CONRAD APPEL RECEIVES BUSINESS GROUP ENDORSEMENT FOR SD 9

SOUTHPAC, a political action committee of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), has announced its endorsement of Conrad Appel for election to Senate District 9 in Jefferson Parish.

“Residents of Senate District 9 are very fortunate to have Mr. Appel running to fill the seat vacated by now-Congressman Steve Scalise,” said Ginger Sawyer, executive director of SOUTHPAC. “From our interviews with the candidates, we believe that Conrad Appel’s background and impressive business experience set him apart from the field.”

“It is also clear that the major issues facing the greater New Orleans region, particularly developing strategies for economic development and international trade, require a vision as well as experience. In SOUTHPAC’s view, Conrad Appel has a wealth of both,” Sawyer added.

“Electing Mr. Appel to the Louisiana State Senate will be a service not only to the residents of his district but to all the citizens of the state.”

The primary election will be held on October 4, with a run-off election on November 4, if necessary.
